H&M opens second Malaysia store

Following its Malaysian debut at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang on September 22, Swedish fashion retailer H&M has opened its second store in the country at Setia City mall in Shah Alam.

The store occupies 17,000 sqft on the upper ground floor of the mall and carries a complete range of fashion and accessories for men, women, teenagers and children, with new items arriving in store daily.

The first shopper in line received a gift card with a value of RM200 while the next 150 each received a RM50 voucher.

“With the addition of H&M to the line up of international fashion brands, our shoppers can enjoy the array of visually stimulating experiences that their modern designs and concept provides,” said Philippa Holmes, Setia City GM.

Last week, the Swedish brand opened its first store in Thailand at Siam Paragon in Bangkok.

The new store openings are part of H&M’s plan to speed up its pace of overseas expansion. The plan for this year has been increased to 300 new stores from 275.
