Italian fashion house Liu Jo will open 200 stores in China in five years.
Liu Jo has partnered with China Resources Textiles, a subsidiary of China Resources Holdings, to undertake the rollout.
The fashion house has opened 46 mono-brand stores and six outlets after entering China in 2002.
Owner Marco Marchi says the new partnership is a strategic move for Liu Jo in its global operations.
“We believe that the strategic alliance is a win-win arrangement under which both parties can leverage their own expertise to build a meaningful business for this iconic, global brand,” says China Resources Textiles chairman C.C. Wang.
China Resources Textiles also represents global brands including Calvin Klein, Alfred Dunhill, Kenzo and Givenchy.
