Foodpanda, OpenRice join hands

Online marketplace for food delivery foodpanda and food and restaurant review website OpenRice have established a new strategic partnership across Southeast Asia.

The partnership is expected to integrate key elements of both websites for a more enhanced consumer experience. Foodpanda will display food reviews from OpenRice on each restaurant profile to give its customers access to more in-depth recommendations and user feedback. OpenRice will display a foodpanda delivery widget on each restaurant profile’s overview tab, so its users can order food directly from their preferred restaurant.

Foodpanda and its affiliated brand hellofood deliver food from over 22,000 restaurants around the globe. Customers now benefit from over 1.6 million OpenRice reviews to choose their favourite delivery restaurant.

The partnership will be launching its first phase primarily in Singapore, India and Thailand and subsequently in Malaysia, Taiwan and Indonesia.
