Aland Hong Kong: Korea’s answer to Urban Outfitters

Korean high street fashion store Aland is fast building a reputation in Hong Kong as a destination for designs from young emerging designers from South Korea.
Aland Hong Kong now has three stores in the territory – on the first floor of Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay, at LCX, Level 3, Ocean Terminal, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui (pictured above) and at Shop 27, APM, Millennium City, Kowloon.
The retailer has been dubbed “the Korean version of Urban Outfitters for selling edgy street fashion”. Its stores stock clothes, shoes, accessories and home decor from several Korean designers that shoppers have probably never heard. The range includes sweaters from 3.3 Field Trip, wool skirts from Piorino Doro, denim shirts from Ser, trendy office trousers from Sculptor, tailored coats from Noir, checkered shirts from Antepost.
Hong Kong fashion blog Butterboom describes Aland as “the perfect place for young fashionistas and perfect to find versatile basics that are trendy”.

Aland has 15 stores in Seoul. According to Butterboom, in Hong Kong, shoppers can find fashionable niche Korean labels at the mid-price point all under one roof; denim jackets for HKD$700, cool printed t-shirts from HKD$300, skinny leather pants for HKD$600 and blouses from HKD$350.
