American fashion designer Tom Ford recently opened his third beauty counter in the territory – at Lane Crawford, inside IFC Mall at Central.
It is located on the third floor of the department store, featuring a beauty counter and tables brightly lit with ebony wood surfaces and gray-tinted mirrors. Customers can perch on stylish leather stools with gold detailing, inspired by the packaging colour scheme of Tom Ford’s cosmetics.
Tom Ford – who paid for high profile product placement of his eyewear in the recent James Bond movie Spectre – launched his cosmetics range in 2006. It has steadily grown market share since. A new fragrance range was recently added.
Fashion blog Butterboom says the design of the new Tom Ford Hong Kong counter creates “a very sleek and seductive vibe that’s very Tom Ford”.
