Monki Hong Kong re-designs original store

Swedish fashion brand Monki Hong Kong re-opens its Langham Place Mall store next week after a re-design.
Monki’s original Asian store, which opened in 2010, will be in business again on April 9.
“We aim for an experience out of the ordinary,” says Monki head of store concept Catharina Frankander. “Everything from golden chandeliers to extra-cosy fitting rooms give customers the Monki World feeling.”
Franander says the store’s facade has always been the most spectacular in the group, so for the redesign “we’ve really gone the extra, extra mile”.
Monki has opened 34 stores in mainland China since 2010, with two extra creative concept boutiques in Hong-Kong – on Granville Rd and in Tsuen Wan Plaza. They all feature Monki’s collections, that combine Scandinavian cool with Japanese/China/Korean-inspired street style.
There will be a 20 per cent discount on re-opening day, and the first 100 customers will receive a gift with their purchase.
