New store to boost Chinese cross-border trade

A flagship “experience store” has opened in Hangzhou Binjiang to provide one-stop service to the Chinese cross-border trade so consumers can shop globally without leaving the mainland.
Described as a cross-border O2O (online to offline) experience store, the Yosen Lamapai Hangzhou Flagship Store was established by retailer/wholesaler Yosen Group offshoot Zhejiang Yosen Lamapai eCommerce as a B2C+O2O global shopping platform.
Covering 1845 sqm, the imported goods outlet is in Star City, Star Ave. It has two areas: an imported products supermarket (8000 SKU of products from more than 50 countries) covering 90 per cent of the business area, and a dining and services area. The store carries live and frozen seafood, fruits and vegetables, nutraceuticals, alcohol, beverages, snack food, maternity and baby products, consumer electronics and appliances, women’s supplies, cosmetics, clothing and accessories.
Because of its strong supply chain, Yosen offers lower prices, and the store is projected to bring RMB 150,000 (about US$25,000) in daily sales with a 30 per cent gross margin, and RMB 55 million in annual sales.
“Yosen Lamapai is committed to introducing modern living concepts to Chinese consumers and building a direct-sale platform for international brands,” says Yosen Group CEO Zhenggang Wang.
Founded in Yiwu City in Zhejiang province in 1997, the Yosen Group, is committed to building cross-border sales channels through its corporate headquarters in China and its wholly owned US subsidiary. Yosen Group is China Commodity City Group’s exclusive partner in the Greater New York area.
