Topman China arrives in Beijing

Topman China, the British fashion authority known for its suits, skinny jeans, and colourful print shirts for men, has arrived at Beijing’s Galleries Lafayette in Xidan, the same mall that houses Topshop (the womenswear branch).

Founded in London in 1964, Topman expanded from its flagship store at Oxford Circus, which attracts more than 200,000 shoppers a week, to outlets across Europe and North America.

While its first retail shop in China is still recovering from a busy opening weekend, a great variety of clothes was available, mainly for those with a skinny build.

Like the other branded outlets at Galleries Lafayette, the store is pretty small, but every corner is packed with merchandise. There is even a screen-printing stand by the entrance turning out smartly designed T shirts.

You can at least find some trendy basics for a decent price to mix and match with whatever classic items you may have in your wardrobe.
