In Ang Mo Kio, the community-oriented entertainment and retail mall AMK Hub is rolling out the carnival spirit to mark Christmas.
As well as special deals, promotions and reward vouchers for shoppers, there is a line-up of entertainment including games, rides and shows, plus social-media contests. There are also photo opportunities, including dancing trees, plus the chance for children to pose with Santa Claus. The mall will be decked out with carnival game booths and feature roving Christmas characters.
Welcoming guests at the entrance will be a 7m Christmas tree, horse-ride carousel, Santa and candy canes. Entertainment includes snow and bubble shows, party troopers and musical interludes.
A Christmas Fair from December 6 to 25 offers soft toys from Kiddy Palace and Mini Toons, as well as Disney’s Tsum Tsum merchandise.
For selfie addicts, there is an #AMKHubCarnival Facebook and Instagram contest with a chance to win a $100 shopping voucher.
Promotions include lucky draws, reward voucher giveaways, an on-screen game with mystery prizes and special deals.
AMK Hub’s My Carnival of Surprises runs from November 18 until January 1.
