C-star Shanghai fair to draw retailers from all over the world

C-star Shanghai will be held in late April and is expected to draw retailers from all over the world.

The third edition of C-star – Shanghai’s International Trade Fair for Solutions and Trends all about Retail, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from April 26 to 28, 2017.

The event is organised by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co and covers four major product categories including shopfitting, lighting, refrigeration and store design; retail technology; visual merchandising & marketing; and stand construction.

C-star is the official satellite expo under EuroShop – the world’s leading trade retail trade fair.

In order to boost the cooperative development between retail, commercial properties and hotel industry, C-star 2017 will collocate with Hotel Plus – Total Solutions for Commercial Properties,  to showcase retail, franchise, vending machine, building materials decoration and design, furniture, lighting, cleaning, intelligent education, boat and leisure products, jointly offering a unique one-stop commercial space platform and all-inclusive solutions. The two shows span over 20,000 sqm of exhibition space in 17 halls and are expected to attract upwards of 100,000 visitors across the globe.

As one of the top highlights in the supporting program and the most valuable knowledge platform, C-star Retail Forum this year will feature the theme of “China’s retail revolution: the new retail concept and future solutions”. The event will take place concurrently during April 26 to 28 in Hall N5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The forum will invite Chinese and international guest speakers made up of retail experts, industry suppliers or representatives of government, associations and research/educational institutes.

Forum participants will discuss methods to introduce the latest retail concepts from overseas markets into China amidst a changing environment how China can better and innovatively incorporate e-commerce into the retail landscape.

Building upon years of success, Global retail design companies and leading design studios will showcase their abilities within Designer Village, bringing to customers extraordinary shopping experiences by using special visual and audio designs. Retail Technology Village will continue to harmonise the most advanced products from big data, AI, mobile payment, logistic services and other innovative solution providers to highlight the fineness of scene marketing, big data management and how big data drives future retailing.
