Luxury Italian footwear brand Gianvito Rossi Hong Kong will mark its 10th year in the city by opening a two-storey boutique in the Lee Long Wah Building at On Lan Street in Central.
The lane is already home to other luxury shoe brands, including Christian Louboutin and Rupert Sanderson.
Gianvito Rossi’s store will showcase the brand’s iconic styles from stilettos to knee boots, plus its colourful pointed-toe pumps.
A feature will be the sparkling evening sandals named after classic cocktails – the Mojito lace-up sandal embellished with lime crystals, and a sparkling neon Cocktail bootie, reports ButterBoom. Classics like the Gianvito and Plexi pumps as well as the Portofino sandals will be available for custom order as part of the 10th anniversary celebration. Shoes will take up to eight weeks to complete as they are made by craftsmen in San Mauro Pascoli municipality, about 100 km southeast of Bologna and Italy’s most famous luxury shoe-making district.
