Retail, dining JV planned for Yangon Junction City

Singapore Myanmar Investco (SMI) will introduce retail and F&B outlets at the Yangon Junction City mixed development.

With a built-up area of about 260,000 sqm, Junction City comprises grade-A offices, a luxury hotel, a retail and entertainment complex and high-rise serviced residences.

With a five-year lease, SMI aims to open and run up to 10 retail brands as well as dining concepts in the Myanmar retail and entertainment complex. Seven of its retail outlets, featuring brands such as Aigner and Coach, will be on level one.

The group aims to open a Benetton fashion retail store on the second level, plus the first Shiseido counter for Myanmar.

It is also opening Chinese restaurant Crystal Jade Kitchen and Japanese ramen restaurant Ippudo in Junction City.
