Fendi Japan has opened a flagship store in the new Ginza Six in Tokyo.
Showcasing menswear and womenswear from the Italian luxury leather label, Fendi Ginza covers four floors, including a basement. The boutique carries ready-to-wear items, furs and leather goods, including shoes and accessories. It introduces its made-to-order furwear service Japan.
To mark the opening, a limited-edition handbag is available alongside smaller leather goods.
Inspired by the label’s birthplace, the store’s facades draw on Roman design with tall pale arches.
“Ginza 6 is a modern and visionary interpretation of what luxury stands for today,” says Fendi chairman/CEO Pietro Beccari. “Fendi is all about Rome, and I believe this boutique we will bring to Tokyo a piece of Dolce Vita.”
Founded in 1925 as a leather and fur specialist, Fendi has 37 monobrand and corners in Japan. It has been owned by LVMH since 2001.
