Nike’s new mobile-first Jersey Shop offers the latest range of football shirts for fans.
The Nike Jersey Shop includes shirts from such clubs as AS Roma, Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur as well as niche favourites like South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.
Included are home, away and third tops, and the range also highlights federations vying for international glory this summer and beyond.
While club and federation kits form the bulk of the offerings, Jersey Shop will also present shirts from across the world through its Nike By You program. This opens up access to Nike’s design, manufacturing and sales as an invitational partnership between the brand and creative individuals.
This starts with a design special to the collaborator. If approved by Nike, it becomes eligible for the nike.com/jerseyshop assortment.
Jersey Shop X Nike By You launches with three examples of collaborative design – shirts from 24 London and Romance FC in London, and FC Harlem from New York.
Following the initiative’s launch, Nike says it will establish community spaces in international cities where people can attend workshops to design their own Nike jerseys.
