SK Jewellery boosts profit by 26.3 per cent

SK Jewellery group has reported a 26.3 per cent lift in its first quarter profit as it deepens its foray into the Chinese bridal market.

The company says its net profit totalled S$1.77 million in the three months to March, on sales up 19 per cent to $48.6 million.

The company’s SK Bullion division contributed most of the lift.

CEO Daniel Lim said the company expects further growth in ensuing quarters due to ongoing expansion into China’s bridal jewellery market.
