Sir Dickson Poon’s son has joined the board of Dickson Concepts as an executive director.
Poon Dickson Pearson Guanda, aged 24, joined the group as a GM in October 2016 and is a substantial shareholder in the business.
His responsibilities include launching the group’s e-commerce operations in Hong Kong, and working closely with the investment team to drive successful investments and exits. He also worked closely with the leadership team to develop a new retail concept combining physical and digital retail.
Prior to joining Dickson Concepts, Pearson Poon worked at the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs (Asia), where he was part of the consumer and retail, technology, media, and telecommunications team in Hong Kong, focusing on the China internet sector.
He is also an executive director of Dickson Concepts subsidiary Harvey Nichols and company and the vice-chairman of the supervisory board of ST Dupont SA.
