Bullish on e-commerce, SSI Group takes Zara Philippines online

SSI Group is taking Zara Philippines online, betting on the country’s growing e-commerce market to boost the Spanish fashion brand’s sales.

The company says shoppers can now buy the brand‘s mens, womens and a kids’ collection at www.zara.com/ph and the online store’s mobile app is available on both iOS and Android versions.

There are no fees on orders picked up at any Zara Philippines’ physical stores as well as on orders over 2995 pesos (around US$58). Deliveries within Metro Manila will take one to three days while countryside deliveries can take up to seven working days and free returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt.

“With its integrated model of stores and online, customers can choose between picking up their orders at any of the nine Zara stores in the country or at accessible drop points across the Philippines, or home delivery,” SSI said in a statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Specialty retailer SSI Group represents 110 brands including Hermes, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Lacoste and Gap and reported a 22-per-cent net income growth in the first six months of 2019.
