This year’s Retail Asia Conference & Expo (RACE) has been postponed in line with government efforts to control and limit the spread of the Novel coronavirus.

Originally scheduled from May 6–8, the conference will now be held from November 17–19 at HKCEC, Hong Kong. The postponement is aimed to safeguard the safety and well-being of industry members and staff.

Conference and expo organisers Informa Markets are monitoring the developing situation while keeping close communication with relevant local government bodies and other key stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate adaptations are made.

Meanwhile, Wine and spirits industry event Vinexpo has been similarly postponed from May 26–28 to July 8–10 for similar reasons. The organisers responded to direct exhibitor feedback in making the decision. The event will still be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
