Lifestyle media group Hypebeast has entered into the F&B category opening its first cafe – called Hypebeans – in Hong Kong.

Located inside the HBX store at Landmark, Hypebeans is a result of the friendship between Hypebeast’s CEO Kevin Ma and world-renowned barista Hiroshi Sawada. Sharing the same interest in fashion and the culinary arts, the two commemorated their relationship with a cafe for like-minded individuals to gather.

“We want to promote a lifestyle surrounded by culture,” says Kevin Ma. “We encourage creative collaborations here as an extension of the Hypebeast community.”

The cafe offers Sawada’s menu inspired by Hong Kong-style cafes, presenting “traditional beverages crafted with a unique blend of coffee beans roasted by Japanese artisans”. The cafe’s signature drinks include the barista’s specialty Forest Matcha Latte and the Hypebeans Cold Brew.
