Macau’s first Lego-certified store opens on Cotai Strip

Macau’s first Lego-certified store opens inside the Shoppes at Venetian this week on the territory’s Cotai Strip.

Lego Macau said on an Instagram post the store will open to the public on Saturday (February 6).

Operated by Kidsland International, the store features artworks and Instagrammable spots, including a giant mosaic wall, for customers to take photos with.

The Lego Mosaic wall, constructed from more than 200,00 Lego bricks, resembles the black and white Portuguese courtyard of Senado Square in downtown. The store also features a 1.4 metre-tall Lego skater boy holding Portuguese tarts built with 86,800 pieces of bricks that took 436 hours to complete.

In celebration of the launch, the Lego-certified store will offer limited souvenirs, including Year of the Ox products for its customers in Macau.
