Richemont-owned Swiss watch brand Piaget has unveiled its expansion plan in Asia, with more stores planned to open in China this year.
The expansion in Asia’s largest market will help Piaget to strengthen its presence in the region where it has seen high demand, recording a five per-cent increase in sales during the last quarter of last year in China.
“We’ll reopen a flagship store in Beverly Hills and also have projects in the Middle East and China,” Chabi Nouri, CEO of Piaget, said in an interview at the Watches and Wonders online event held last week.
Besides China, the company also plans to expand its store network in the Middle East this year.
Piaget now has presence across 13 countries and regions in Asia, including China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
