Bally signs up Johnny Huang as brand ambassador

Luxury brand Bally has signed Chinese model and actor Huang Jingyu as its newest global ambassador, hoping to build engagement with consumers in China and beyond.

Johnny Huang, as he is also known, will front the brand’s Autumn/Winter campaign alongside Chinese model Zhao Jiali in his first role for Bally, before appearing in store openings and other events. His image will be used to promote the Spring/Summer 2021 campaign.

Describing Huang as “a formidable actor”, Bally said Huang “will reinterpret our pioneering spirit with his signature style and edge”.

“He has a dynamic personality and modern sense of style.”

Bally has 60 stores in China – but with a profile extending beyond his homeland, Huang will help the brand globally as it celebrates its 170th anniversary.

His film roles include Operation Red Sea, Pegasus and Lost in Russia and he stars in TV series including Addicted, The Thunder and My Dear Guardian. He has also recorded several singles and performs on variety shows.
