Kuala Lumpur’s new Landmark Pavilion Bukit Jalil mall sets opening date

Pavilion Bukit Jalil – Kuala Lumpur’s newest mall – will open in time for the year-end holidays.

Spanning five retail floors with 1.8 million sqft of retail space, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will be the largest fully integrated regional lifestyle mall in the city’s southern corridor. The operators have revealed the opening date: December 3.

The new mall will house a mix of well-known retail brands and international brands, some making their debut in the country.

As of this month, more than 1 million sqft has been secured by tenants, including department store Parkson, specialty anchors The Food Merchant, Harvey Norman, Dadi Cinema, Blue Ice Snow Park, Grand Harbour Restaurant & Banquet, Toys ‘R Us and Uniqlo.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil will be home to Southeast Asia’s first flagship stores of Chinese tea brand Tianyue Teajoy and pottery brand Lohas. International tenants include Chanel, Dior, YSL, Kiels, Chow Tai Fook and Hong Kong artisan coffee brand The Coffee Academics.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil also houses event spaces such as the 28,000sqft covered outdoor Piazza; the 4500sqft Centre Court to host festivities and launches, and a 47,000sqft exhibition centre.

The shopping destination is operated by Regal Path, a joint venture of three investors – Malton subsidiary Khuan Choo Realty, Qatar Investment Authority’s Q PBJ, and Jelang Tegas. Datuk Lee Whay Hoong, director of the mall’s operator Regal Path, said the mall is targeting 2.5 to 3 million visitors a month.
