Members-only flash sales concept for premium goods, OnTheList, has launched in Malaysia as part of its expansion in Asia-Pacific.

Customers in Malaysia now have access to a range of discounted past-season items from premium brands with an average of 75 per cent off. OnTheList has worked with more than 500 luxury brands and official distributors, including Furla, Jimmy Choo, Armani, Le Creuset, Ted Baker, Longchamp, Ugg and Foreo.

Co-founder of OnTheList, Diego Dultzin Lacoste, says Malaysia has always been on the top of the brand’s list when considering business expansion.

“We are confident that OnTheList will appeal to Malaysians who are savvy shoppers, and have a penchant for premium quality products,” he said.

“OnTheList’s business model also gives brands the opportunity to connect with a wider consumer database, engaging them through the flash sale platform as a first touch-point. Additionally, this method of clearing stock also promotes sustainability and minimises environmental impact.”

The Malaysian debut follows the brand’s launch in South Korea and Australia earlier this year. Founded in 2016 in Hong Kong by two French entrepreneurs, Delphine Lefay and Diego Dultzin Lacoste, OnTheList has a presence across six markets, including Singapore, Shanghai and Taiwan.

Since its inception, OnTheList has sold more than 2 million items from partner brands with a membership database of 507,461 shoppers. Through the members-only flash sales concept, the brand aims to reduce landfills, minimise carbon footprint, support community services, and contribute to charity sales.
