The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands has unveiled its latest luxury tenant lineup as Singapore’s retail landscape revives due to the resumption of travel and easing of movement restrictions in the city state.

Luxury brands making their Southeast Asian debut in the centre include Buccellati, Acne Studios, and Amaffi. Meanwhile, luxury fashion house Dior has unveiled a renovated duplex flagship in The Shoppes, which includes a Dior Beauty boutique.

“The strategy that we adopted during the past two years – maintaining our tenant mix integrity with a continued focus on the luxury sector and refocusing our efforts to acquire more local clientele – has paid off,” said Hazel Chan, VP of retail at Marina Bay Sands.

“With the reopening of borders, we also witness an influx of tourists with higher spending power and who desire curated experiences. Our strong ‘premium to luxe’ positioning has set us apart, allowing us to retain, acquire and grow our clientele base, especially ultra-luxe shoppers.”

Other brands launching in the centre include Italian luxury footwear and fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti, % Arabica, and Baccarat.

“We will continue to identify and bring in even more exciting concepts to the retail mix that will elevate the overall shopping experience for our customers,” she said.

The Shoppes reported strong financials over the second quarter of this year, with revenue surging from US$39 million to US$55 million year on year.
