Hong Kong’s D2C phone cases and accessories brand, Casetify, has opened its first permanent store in the US in California’s Santa Clara, eyeing 20 stores in the country by 2025.

Located at Westfield Valley Fair shopping mall, the Santa Clara store marks Casetify’s first store outside Asia and its 20th in the world. The retailer eyes rolling out 100 stores globally during the next three years. Currently, the US accounts for Casetify’s highest market share.

“In addition to the US, we plan to open stores in major cities such as Sydney, Shanghai, Taipei and Seoul in the next few months to expand sales channels,” the company said.

The brand exceeded US$125 million in sales in 2020 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 70 per cent, aiming to boast sales of $3 billion through the omnichannel approach by 2025.

Casetify entered South Korea earlier this year when its first store opened in the heart of Seoul. Since then, the company has opened three additional stores in the market. The brand has also recently launched a pop-up store in Thailand’s shopping complex CentralWorld, which will open until March 25.

Founded in 2011 by Ronald Yeung and Wesley Ng, Casetify currently has a presence in seven countries and regions – Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand and the US.
