Singaporean design studio Beyond The Vines is planning to launch its first international pop-up store in Tokyo, Japan.

The pop-up – The BTV Express Tokyo – follows the label’s debut pop-up in Singapore last December. It will be located in Daikanyama T-Site and will be open from March 23 to March 26.

Beyond The Vines said its newest standalone pop-up is the brand’s first venture outside of Singapore as it seeks to grow its international presence.

‘The BTV Express’ is inspired by the brand’s ‘Blooth’, which can be found in the BTV Design Store flagship, and bears its engineer’s blue tint. The concept is to create a temporary area where people might congregate and diverge.

“Tokyo is a city that values creativity and design, and we believe that our brand will resonate with the city’s fashion-forward consumers,” said Rebecca Ting, founder of Beyond The Vines.

Beyond The Vines offers a diverse range of products, including ready-to-wear, accessories, and lifestyle items. The retailer will present a handpicked collection including the recently announced Poofy Wallets, Poofy pouches, and the Dumpling Bags.

The new Dumpling Bags will be the highlight of the four-day pop-up.

Beyond The Vines was established in 2015 by Singaporean husband-and-wife duo Daniel Chew and Rebecca Ting with a shared conviction that good design should be accessible to anyone. The label promotes a minimalistic style with a philosophy inspired by duality – to create boldly while still designing simply. The brand has eight stores across Singapore and the Philippines.
