Italian fine jewellery brand Fope is set to open its first Japan flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo tomorrow (June 14).

The store also marks the brand’s third flagship store after those in St Mark’s Square in Venice and Old Bond Street in London. Spanning about 100sqm over two levels, the store’s design was inspired by Italian architecture. The facade features Venetian Terrazzo, which combines separate pyramidal three-dimensional panels.

The store interior, using the white and green colour scheme, is divided into three main areas – an open atrium at the front, a customer service space, and a VIP room.  Meanwhile, the store’s second floor is home to a cafe operated by another company and another VIP room. The brand also plans to host events using both floors at the same time.

Fope said the store would house limited-edition products that have not yet landed in Japan.

Since entering the market three years ago, the brand currently has one directly managed store in Tokyo and more than 10 points of sales managed by its authorised distributor.

The brand has boutiques in key cities such as London, Venice, Isola Bella, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
