US fashion company Marc Jacobs International has signed a long-term license deal with Coty to add Marc Jacobs Beauty to the beauty giant’s portfolio.

The multinational beauty giant currently holds the license for Marc Jacobs Fragrances for two decades. Business of Fashion said the beauty products are likely to hit shelves in 2025.

The brand’s beauty unit was originally launched in 2013 in partnership with Kendo Brands before coming to an end in late 2021.

“The revival of Marc Jacobs’ cosmetic portfolio, now in partnership with Coty, is eagerly anticipated by consumers around the world who have been campaigning for its return,” said Sue Nabi, CEO at Coty.

“This agreement reinforces Coty’s position as a go-to partner for global fashion houses and brands that share our ambition of creating leading beauty portfolios.”

Coty sells prestige and mass-market products in approximately 126 countries and territories. Its portfolio of brands includes Vera Wang, Tiffany & Co, Orveda, Philosophy, and Kylie Cosmetics. The Marc Jacobs Beauty revival with Coty came less than a week after the beauty giant renewed its long-term license agreement with Adidas.

“Bringing Marc’s creative vision to life, in its entirety, is our constant goal, and beauty plays a crucial role in delivering that to our consumers,” said Eric Marechalle, CEO at Marc Jacobs International.

Marc Jacobs Fragrances launched its flagship stores on LazMall earlier this year, betting on the emergence of e-commerce in Southeast Asia.
