Italian chocolate maker Venchi will open its first physical outlet in Malaysia in November, in collaboration with partner Bluebell Group.

The launch is part of the brand’s ambition to reach 100 stores in Apac by the end of the year, which was revealed earlier this year in an interview with Venchi CEO Marco Galimberti and Inside Retail

The store will be located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and will offer Malaysians a variety of traditional Italian-style chocolate, including Gianduja, one of the most popular flavours sourced from pure chocolate and IGP Piedmont Hazelnut paste.

Venchi, founded by Silviano Venchi in 1878, is known for its Italian confectionery and gelato. The brand currently operates more than 180 stores in key global cities, including London, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Tokyo, and New York.

In addition, the Italian retailer reportedly plans to open 250 stores by 2025.
