Gentle Monster‘s cafe brand Nudake has launched its Nudake Sinsa location in South Korea’s Gangnam, one of the most bustling areas in Seoul.

Dubbed ‘The Croissant’, the new store boasts two storeys, featuring a large croissant object on the first floor and a space for customers to enjoy Nudake’s menu on the second floor.

Nudake’s third flagship store is filled with a variety of croissant types and offers The Oniwassant, the store’s “signature menu” which is comprised of three distinct shapes and six flavours. According to the brand, among these, the ‘Kimchi’ and ‘Basil Lemon’ flavours are crafted to offer a complete experience of the ingredients used.

“The store is sharing a sensation of genuine happiness that accompanies the enjoyment of delicious bread, aptly titled ‘Original Pleasure’,” Nudake wrote on its Instagram account.

“Experience the joy of discovering cute croissants hidden throughout the space, waiting to be found everywhere!”

Artistic dessert brand Nudake first opened its physical location in China’s Beijing in 2019 and then expanded into Shanghai a year later.  The brand turned back to its home ground – South Korea – in 2021 with the first location in Apgujeong HAUS Dosan.

The HAUS concept is a retail strategy of Gentle Monster, which incorporates its three brands: Gentle Monster, Tamburins and Nudake into one place.
