Asian restaurant chain PF Chang’s is ramping up its international expansion with its first locations in India.

The launch is under the partnership with franchisee partners, Gourmet Investments Private Limited (GIPL) and HMSHost.

“As we enter our 30th year in business, it couldn’t be a better time to invest in our growth and share the PF Chang’s experience with even more guests,” said Kristen Briede, president of global brands & retail at PF Chang’s.

The chain’s first store in India, operated by HMSHost, was opened in Terminal 2 of the Bangalore International Airport. The company aims to expand to Mumbai later this year in collaboration with GIPL. The franchisee also plans to launch locations in Delhi National Capital Region next year.

Besides more than 200 locations in the US, PF Chang’s has more than 90 restaurants in 22 countries. The company said it continues to fast-track its global expansion and growth by targeting new international locations in Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.
