Multi-Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay has built his first restaurant in Macau, The Londoner Macao, in conjunction with Sands China.

The store’s interior design incorporates the 1830s Industrial Revolution features in order to provide a British pub feel. The store has a bar in the centre, and the seats are decked in a British flag-inspired colour palette.

The store includes wood-panelled walls, soft leather booths, reclaimed timber, plasterwork, and glass details, along with modern London artwork and accessories.

“It is a privilege to be working with Gordon and to bring one of his successful restaurant brands to diners at The Londoner Macao,” said Tom Connolly, senior VP of food and beverage operations, at Sands China.

“With the addition of Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, our international dining experience is elevated to the next level and our professional team will deliver the most authentic British pub experience for diners in Macau.”

The special menu features well-known Ramsay classics including Beef Wellington, Fish & Chips, Slow Roasted Pork Belly, artisan cocktails, and a premium wine selection.

Gordon Ramsay’s expansion in Macau began in 2015 when the well-known chef signed a deal with Sands China to make his debut in the region.

The Londoner Macao has a diverse assortment of merchants and launched its 22,000sqft T Galleria last year.

Gordon Ramsay is also expanding his presence in Asia, with plans to open 14 restaurants in Thailand. Through a collaboration with Tanachira Group, the first two restaurants will debut in December at Emsphere Mall in Bangkok and 12 more locations will open subsequently.
