Chinese footwear brand Zuliz has opened its first overseas store in Singapore, with the ambition to expand its market reach.

The first location in Singapore is in the bustling Chinatown Point, which is home to one of the largest Chinese communities. Zuliz’s Singapore store sells a variety of major products, such as Dad Shoes, Mom Shoes, Travel Shoes and Walking Shoes.

According to the brand, the opening of the first overseas outlet is a significant milestone of the corporate strategy. Zuliz intends to increase its publicity and promotion efforts in overseas markets, strengthen its R&D and design strength, and provide new products that meet the needs of overseas markets on a continuous basis.

The brand intends to set up more stores around the world in the next few years, with the goal of gaining more respect and recognition for “Made in China” items.

Zuliz presently has more than 3000 stores throughout China, and the brand reports that sales at the Zuliz Singapore store hit 12,858 US$ (17,600 S$) during the soft opening period.

Founded in 2015, the company focuses on research on the changes in the foot shape of the elderly. It received the market status certification of No 1 brand of senior shoes in mainland China for three years in a row, from 2020 to 2022.
