French luxury brand Ami Paris has opened its first cafe at Taikoo Li South Plaza in Beijing, bringing the brand closer to young affluent Chinese customers.
Dubbed ‘Le Cafe Ami’, the exclusive pop-up store design was inspired by a traditional Parisian cafe, featuring elements such as Morris columns, Haussman-style architecture and the essence of Parisian lifestyle.
As part of the campaign, the fashion brand hosted an opening party at Hanlin Academy, which was participated by the house’s friends, including Taiwanese actor and singer Greg Han, Yu Jing Tian and Hong Kong actress and Cantopop diva Miriam Yeung Chin-wah.
The Ami pop-up cafe and store will open until December 8.
In September, the French designer brand opened its first duty-free shop in South Korea in partnership with Samsung C&T Corp as part of its efforts to reach out to more global consumers.
