Press Butter Sand has launched its first location in Singapore, offering butter sandwich cookies with the ‘Hasami-yaki’ method.
Located at Takashimaya Department Store, the store offers three variants including original, uji matcha, and chocolate. According to the brand, the highlight of Press Butter Sand is the ‘Hasami-yaki’ method, which eliminates excess oil and ensures a perfect balance of texture and flavour.
Originally launched in Tokyo in 2017, Press Butter Sands currently operates more than 30 locations in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
Prices at the Singapore store will be slightly higher than in Japan, ranging from SG$4 to SG$4.80 per cookie and SG$22.50 for a package of five, SG$40.50 for a box of nine pieces. (SG$1 = US$0.75)
