Luxury group Richemont has named Laurent Malecaze as the new president and CEO of its Paris-based fashion label Chloe.

Malecaze, joining the brand after two years serving as CEO of Dunhill, will succeed Riccardo Bellini, who will depart the company this month after four years in the role. During his tenure, Bellini oversaw the appointment of Chemena Kamali as the new creative director and the development of her first Fall 24 Collection.

“[Bellini] has helped reconnect Chloe with its purpose, bringing a unique point of differentiation within the industry and laying the foundations for its next cycle of growth,” said Philippe Fortunato, CEO of Richemont’s Fashion and Accessories Maisons.

Before serving at Dunhill the past two years, Malecaze led AZ Factory and was the CEO of New York-based luxury multi-brand retailer The Webster. He had also worked at Bain & Company as a strategic consultant for several years.

“Malecaze has a proven track record in partnering with great creative talents, and his ability to energise an organisation will be instrumental to lead Chloe during this period of creative renewal,” said Fortunato. “I am confident his partnership with Chemena will usher in a sustained period of growth for the Maison.”

Meanwhile, Andrew Holmes, chief operating and financial officer of Dunhill, will act as interim CEO of Dunhill, reporting to Fortunato.
