French activewear label Salomon has opened its first brand store in Southeast Asia – at Singapore’s Raffles City Shopping Centre.

The store offers fashion-forward sneakers and gear for urban trails, city runs, and beyond, the brand said on social media.

Collections featured at the venue include S/LAB performance running items, designed for world-class athletes, and the popular Sportstyle range, according to The Straits Times.

Visitors can also check out an exhibition about the legacy of the brand, as well as the latest range of XT-6 shoe styles and upcoming collaboration products.

Salomon was founded in 1947 in Annecy – located in the French Alps. The company started as a maker of ski boots before venturing into outdoor sports footwear and equipment.

Adidas bought the firm in 1997 before selling it to Finnish sporting equipment company Amer Sports in 2005.
