Aris Maroulis named as VP for Tumi Apac & Middle East

Travel and lifestyle brand Tumi has appointed Aris Maroulis as its new VP for Asia Pacific and Middle East, effective immediately.

Maroulis will be based in Hong Kong and oversee the development of the brand, operations, and the overall business in the region. In his new role, Maroulis will report directly to Subrata Dutta, president of Samsonite Asia Pacific and Middle East.

“He has extensive luxury retail experience on both the brand and commercial real estate sides,” said Dutta.

“Aris is a proven leader who will focus on identifying new opportunities for Tumi and continue to provide customer experience through every brand touchpoint.”

With 25 years of experience in Asia, Europe and the US, Maroulis most recently served as director of China business operation and asset management for Hang Lung Properties. During his four-year term, he was responsible for managing a portfolio of luxury shopping malls in Mainland China.

Prior to that, Maroulis was MD for Montblanc China, where he was responsible for the China market.
