Chanel is learning that even the most established brands are not immune to the chill settling over the global luxury market. The privately held French luxury house reported a 4.3 per cent drop in revenues for the year ended December 31 to $18.7 billion, as global luxury demand cooled and macroeconomic pressures weighed on consumers.
