L’Oreal Korea has appointed Rodrigo Pizarro as its new CEO, effective immediately.
Pizarro brings more than 30 years of experience with the French beauty giant, having led digital and data-driven initiatives across multiple regions since joining L’Oreal Portugal in 1993.
Over the course of his career, he has held leadership roles in Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific.
The newly appointed chief has led the company’s consumer products division in Venezuela and Hungary, and served as country manager in Venezuela, Portugal, Australia, and New Zealand.
While in Australia and New Zealand, Pizarro led the company’s digital transformation, rolling out AI-powered business models.
Last year, as chief transformation officer for the Sapmena region (South Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and North Africa), he helped advance decision-making initiatives across commercial, marketing, and operations.
“Since the founding of L’Oreal Korea in 1993, our partnership with the Korean industry has been vital,” Pizarro said.
“I look forward to deepening that collaboration and helping to amplify Korea’s spirit of innovation on the world stage.”
