Van Cleef & Arpels Hong Kong has relocated its boutique from Landmark Prince’s at 10 Chater Road, Central, to Alexandra House.

Spanning 564sqm, the two-storey space was designed by Studio Jouin Manku and draws inspiration from the interplay of nature and architecture.

Inside, the ground floor includes an oak-panelled circular room, a central staircase crafted from light limestone and oak, and display cases and glass columns showcasing the maison’s High Jewellery, Jewellery and Watchmaking collections.

The upper floor houses salons dedicated to watchmaking, fragrance, and private appointments.

The watchmaking salon features a palette of midnight blue, beige, and wood tones, while the fragrance salon includes alcoves inspired by traditional perfume organs and showcases the Collection Extraordinaire.

Moreover, the boutique includes a tea ceremony space featuring locally sourced rose-coloured stone developed from mineral powder through research conducted with L’École, School of Jewellery Arts, in Hong Kong.

An event space at the foot of the central staircase has been designed to host a range of occasions. Its ceiling features an undulating pattern inspired by the white petal motifs on the boutique’s façade, with the fabric entirely hand-embroidered by French craftspeople.

A dedicated heritage room will host four exhibitions each year.

Van Cleef & Arpels established its presence in Hong Kong in 1981 at the behest of Jacques Arpels, opening its first boutiques in the city, including one at Landmark.
