Bacha Coffee is accelerating its global expansion with its debut in the Philippines, alongside new openings in Mainland China and Taiwan.

The Moroccan coffee house, founded in Marrakech in 1910, has opened its first locations in Metro Manila at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and Greenbelt 3 in Makati City. Both outlets feature a format that combines a Coffee Bar, a Coffee Boutique, and a takeaway service.

The location introduces the brand’s range of more than 200 specialty coffees made with 100 per cent Arabica beans sourced from 35 coffee-growing regions.

“Bacha Coffee is the product of a rich legacy, a brand that has ripened over storied brews since 1910,” said Taha Bouqdib, president and CEO of V3 Gourmet.

“Our latest destinations will ignite the imagination of our guests in the same way that coffee transports us to faraway destinations.”

In Taiwan, the brand has opened a new location at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Nanxi Store I in Taipei’s Zhongshan district. The outlet spans approximately 92sqm.

Meanwhile, Bacha Coffee has unveiled a 390sqm flagship at Taikoo Li Qiantan in Shanghai, offering expansive city views across the Qiantan business district.

The Shanghai opening follows the brand’s first Mainland China location at Beijing China World Mall and forms part of its wider expansion strategy in the market. Alongside the physical opening, Bacha Coffee launched its official flagship store on Tmall Luxury, extending its presence in China’s digital luxury retail market.
