Chinese supermarket chain expands

China’s supermarket chain QKL Stores has opened two new hypermarkets in northeastern China and Mongolia. The Mongolia store, of approximately 8500 sqft, is located in Zhalantun City, inside the new shopping mall in the center of the city’s commercial district, serving about 160,000 potential Chinese customers.
