Qoo10 partners with 7-Eleven

E-commerce site Qoo10 is pioneering a cash payment option in Singapore.

Qoo10 has partnered with convenience chain 7-Eleven to enable shoppers who have no credit cards to purchase online but pay offline.

“Qoo10 has just celebrated its third birthday with 900,000 members and we hope to hit the one million member milestone with the addition of the 7-Eleven payment option,” said Asil Turk, commercial head for Qoo10’s Southeast Asian business division.

With the addition of a non-credit payment option, Qoo10’s customer base is expected to increase by 30 to 40 per cent.

Qoo10, which offers products such as fashion and clothing, beauty products, digital items, books and more, serves Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong and China.

Qoo10’s partnership with 7-Eleven follows similar tie-ups by other e-commerces site such as Amazon which partnered with FamilyMart in Shanghai for payment and pick up option.
