Italian brand Gucci has partnered with Bee Inc for its new flagship store in Shanghai.

Bee will assist Gucci in pioneering a sustainable design for their newest store by attempting LEED certification for the project and by using green building materials in the construction and interior design of the store.

Opening at IAPM shopping mall on Huai Hai Rd, the new two-level store will be designed and built to showcase Gucci’s brand and image while embracing the concepts of sustainability and green design.

Bee, a consultancy in green buildings, sustainable design and LEED, has already worked in China with clients including United Family Hospitals, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Haworth and Akzo Nobel.
