Swedish retailer H&M is eyeing new online markets including China.
The retailer says China, Spain and Italy will get new H&M cyberstores this year and another 8-10 new countries next year.
H&M says the plan is part of its effort to build an even stronger company and to continue to build its multi-channel strategy.
It will also expand its offline retail footprint to include Philippines and India as new international markets.
“During the autumn the Philippines and India will become new H&M countries, something we are very much looking forward to,” said CEO Karl-Johan Persson.
The robust expansion plans were announced after its profit in the three months to May increased 25 per cent to 5.81 billion Swedish kronor ($875.5 million).
