US yoghurt chain heads for Thailand

Yogurtland, the fast growing self-serve frozen yogurt concept is to open 15 locations in Thailand.

The first two locations will open this month under a partnership with Thai company Sports Revolution Group, headed by Pornsak Chinawongwatana, which also represents Nike, Adidas and Crocs.

The first store will open on December 15 at the Terminal 21 Shopping Center in Asoke in the heart of Bangkok.

On December 25, a second location will open – a three-story flagship store located in the upscale Sukhumvit 35 retail, office and residential center in the District-Em, located at Phrom Phong Station. The first floor of this Yogurtland will feature a newly designed ‘flavor station’ with 12 unique flavors and an outside patio with spacious seating. The second and third floor offer extended lounge areas.

At Yogurtland, a modern, bright wall of flavors welcomes guests along with a colorful topping bar filled with both healthy and indulgent options to satisfy any appetite. Paying by weight, guests can choose among a wide range of yogurt flavors and dozens of fruit and premium toppings to custom build their own treat.

As the frontrunner in the recent frozen yogurt industry surge, Yogurtland is one of the US’s first and largest self-serve frozen yogurt brands.

Yogurtland has 300 locations across the US, Australia, Guam, Mexico, Venezuela and Dubai with more than 50 additional locations planned to open over the next six months.
