T Galleria Macau to open sunglass boutique

T Galleria Macau will soon open a new eyewear boutique which will include collections from Kering brands Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta.
The new boutique will open at Studio City in Macau, on October 27.
Kering Eyewear says its new Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta Eyewear Collections will be launched in the Travel Retail channel through a partnership with DFS Group, making its debut at the Macau boutique.
The two “pillar brands of the Kering Group”, will comprise a wide product offer of sunglasses and optical frames specifically designed to appeal to Asian customers.
Together with Puma, brand leader in the Sport and Lifestyle segment, the Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta Eyewear collections will consequently be launched in other top locations.
Kering Eyewear says its partnership with DFS is “a tremendous opportunity to consolidate and ensure the untapped growth potential of each of the brands in its portfolio”.
“We’re excited that Kering Eyewear has chosen T Galleria by DFS at Studio City in Macau for the presentation of the Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta Eyewear Collections to the travel retail market,” said Jason Blejwas, DFS group director of merchandising, sunglasses, fashion watches and jewellery.
“Our new sunglasses boutique at Studio City, with its award-winning design and exclusive collections, will bring customers an unprecedented shopping experience in the heart of Macau and we’re thrilled that Kering’s assortment will be part of that experience.”
Omar Hagi, global head of travel retail and international key accounts, added: “Travel Retail is a strategic channel for Kering Eyewear in fulfilling our ambition of being the worldwide leader in Luxury and High-end Eyewear. The DFS Merchandising team immediately recognised the uncompromised quality of our product offer for the Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent pillar brands and we can therefore count on their know-how and customer-oriented approach in supporting the empowerment of our brands in this channel.”
Kering Eyewear, a Kering Group company, was established in 2014 with the purpose of internalising the eyewear category by creating a company pooling expertise in design, marketing, production and distribution for the majority of the group’s brands. The Eyewear Collections are now designed and developed in-house, in collaboration with the creative teams of each of the Kering brands, and with the same attention to craftsmanship and detail as in all other product categories.
