Apple is launching its 29th retail store for China on Saturday (January 9) – in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province in the north-east.

In the MixC shopping mall in the Heping district, the Apple Shenyang store will be open seven days a week between 10am and 9.30pm, reports Apple Fan. It will offer traditional Apple Store services, including the Genius Bar, Workshops, JointVenture, events and seminars.

Shenyang is about 390km northeast of Dalian, a major port city where Apple opened its 21st retail store for China in October.

Apple has aggressively expanded its footprint in China under the leadership of retail chief Angela Ahrendts, stores opening in Nanning on December 12, Beijing on November 28 and Chengdu on November 21. Other stores opened in Chongqing, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Nanjing and Tianjin throughout last year.
